When Porsche Motorsport unveiled the 2026 992.2 911 Cup Car, the VPG Porsche 911 Cup Sim Wheel was revealed alongside it — a world first in sim racing. Developed in direct collaboration with Porsche and manufactured in the same facility as the real Cup car wheel, this isn't a replica. It's a purpose-built motorsport instrument, engineered for simulation.

At just 1kg (1,030g), this is the lightest high-end sim racing wheel on the market — and that's no gimmick. Lower rotational mass means lower inertia, which translates to faster response, sharper force feedback, and more track detail transmitted straight to your hands. The carcass and front plate are crafted entirely from motorsport-specification pre-preg carbon fibre, giving the wheel a stiffness-to-weight ratio that eliminates structural flex under direct drive torque.

With 76 mappable inputs, 24 addressable RGB LEDs around each front rotary, and 4 RGB LEDs per button, the 911 Cup is as customisable as it is authentic. The new VPG Sim Suite firmware introduces industry-first "magic button" functions — letting you map different functions to individual rotary positions, so your wheel adapts to how you drive.
